Your Role

Digit IT is looking for an entry-level Technician to join our growing team. Based in Toowoomba, you will be given training and hands-on exposure to deliver our key service offerings: IT Support, IT Projects, IT Security, Managed Services, Cloud Services and Business Connectivity.

 

This is an entry-level IT role, so experience in a similar role is not essential, but customer service experience is a must!! 

 

Your Responsibilities 

• Provide onsite and remote Level 1 technical support to our clients

• Troubleshooting, hardware repairs and software installation

• Log and resolve tickets in our management system

• Create and maintain client documentation 

• Onsite client visits for IT Support and installations

 

Your Skills and Experience

• Excellent oral, listening and written communication skills

• Experience in a customer service focused role

• TAFE IT Diploma or equivalent technical experience

• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 365

• Knowledge of networking concepts such as firewalls and routers

• Commitment to learning and continuous improvement

• A valid driver’s license

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
